Now just for the record, I don’t like Adult Swim. I think it’s retarded, and I hate the fact that Def Jux associates themselves with them. However, this mixtape is a truly amazing compilation. With Camo Tao, El-P, Hangar 18, Aesop Rock, and a bunch of others, the line-up should speak for itself. What I found interesting about this album is how fun it is to listen too. Not to say that a majority of Def Jux releases aren’t “fun” to listen to, but this compilation really seems to be put together in a way that allows you to either be flying down the highway or sitting in your office and have an equal amount of fun either way. All the tracks on the album have uplifting melodies that make it virtually impossible not to bobb your head too.

In conclusion, I still wont ever watch a cartoon that involves a box of french fry’s talking to a trailer trash guy with a beer gut, but I will play the shit out of this album. By the way, it’s free and available for download here: http://www.adultswim.com/williams/music/defswim/
